Shoal Bay Public School is situated on the tip of the Tomaree Peninsula. It is a leisure and tourism area and many people are attracted to it because of lifestyle. Our purpose is that:
'At Shoal Bay Public School we work together with parents and community to: create a happy caring school environment; adopt a positive approach to all aspects of school through an effective reward system; develop children into responsible community members; emphasise the basic skills; cater for the physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of each individual; create a happy, secure and harmonious atmosphere which will foster self-esteem; ensure children are aware of their rights and responsibilities; and to encourage interest in and concern for the environment.'
