A suez Community message As the local community continues its clean-up efforts following recent extraordinary weather, we're experiencing a notable increase in the quantity of waste from kerbside bins and storm debris for transfer to landfill, recycling and green waste composting. With the Raymond Terrace Recovery Park and landfill having also been impacted by the extreme weather, it's going to take us longer than usual to on-transfer waste at our Newline Road facility. Unfortunately, wet waste can generate odour. We understand that's a concern for the community and so it's also a concern for us. To mitigate adverse events, we're working harder to manage potential odour as best as practicably possible. We have increased staff work hours and added additional equipment and processing resources to help clear the increased quantity. We appreciate your understanding as we work through the challenging weeks ahead. If you would like to share your feedback, you can contact the SUEZ environmental hotline on 1800 368 737.
