The NELSON BAY CANCER PATIENT TRANSPORT GROUP is a volunteer group providing the following services to our local community: Volunteer drivers who transport patients to the Newcastle metro area for cancer treatment and related Doctors appointments. It is an ancillary service for when cancer patients cannot access any other reliable form of personal transport for treatments and appointments. Our services are subject to available resources. This service is provided free of charge to patients and continues due to the generosity of our volunteer drivers, financial grants and donations received from the local community.
