O’Meara Property is owned and operated by Daniel and Lorraine O’Meara. Daniel and Lorraine purchased what had been known as “Innes Creighton Nationwide Realty” in October 2001. The business had operated under various names including “Burt Monkley Real Estate” since the late 1960’s and is today the oldest established agency still operating on the Tomaree Peninsula.
Far from being new to the real estate industry or to the area, Daniel and Lorraine previously owned Ray White Port Stephens which they firmly established as the number 1 Ray White office for the Newcastle region and a top 10 NSW country office. Daniel and Lorraine sold Ray White Port Stephens in December 1999.
O’Meara Property is a fiercely independent office, we are in no way associated with any franchise. In creating O’Meara Property, Daniel and Lorraine wanted to create a business focused solely on achieving great results for their clients without the restrictions of being tied to a corporate machine focused on building their brand. Daniel’s wife, Lisa joined the business in 2012 having a long customer service career in furniture stores, real estate and banking positions.
O’Meara Property is located prominently right in the heart of Nelson Bay. We have arguably the highest passing traffic (both pedestrian and vehicular) of any local agency and our window display is designed to take maximum benefit of this fact. Our magazine “The Property Review” is always available from our office ensuring that sellers listed with us are exposed to the maximum number of buyers.
