The Yacaaba Centre was established in 1989 and is proudly supported by many organisations and individuals in the local community. We are partially funded by NSW Department of Communities and Justice, NSW Ministry of Health, and operate on a donation basis (tax deductible).
Our mission: To provide counselling support, information and advocacy to those who are at imminent risk of homelessness or are homeless, or have mental health concerns within a counselling approach.
We are partly funded under the homelessness scheme but we are not a housing provider. We do not provide accommodation.
