Welcome to New Eye – The Newcastle Eye Centre. We are dedicated to serving the specialist eye needs of those in the Newcastle and greater Hunter region.
The Newcastle Eye Centre is headed up by Dr Eugene Hollenbach, a leader within Newcastle and the Hunter Valley in the field of Ophthalmology. Dr Hollenbach give lectures on numerous topics within both the fields of Vitreo-retinal Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Diabetic Eye Disease, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Eyelid & Cosmetic Surgery; and also runs frequent seminars with the public and other health professionals in these fields.
Dr Hollenbach leads a team of highly skilled eye surgeons and Ophthalmologists who also provide a range of sub-specialty services including Surgical Retina Procedures, Oculoplastics, Laser assisted Cataract and Glaucoma Surgery, Age-related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma and Presbyopia Treatment.
